I feel like my art isn’t measuring up to my expectations and it really just makes me get super more art blocky like it’s been months now what why

Also! I got another anon just like this, so I’ll answer both ; w ;
First of all:
It means a lot to get comments like these really!!! It makes my day super bright and I can’t help but always smile because it’s not me but you guys are the ones who are amazing! To have my art appreciated is the best thing in the world to me because I treat my pieces like my babies and to have other people appreciate their existence means the world to me. So, thank you so very much.
I think the best way to get started is just to copy everything you see. try everything you like out. If you want to make a pretty butt, draw a pretty butt! Things of that nature~! Eventually, you start molding your own style and your own way of doing things. But promise me that even when you start feeling comfortable, you will still try new things and push your limit! It’s literally as simple as that~!
But I will put up some reality here. Being an artist is a series of disappointments that doesn’t stop happening. It’s common knowledge that improvement doesn’t happen over night. But KNOWING this doesn’t make it any less painful when you get online and there’s millions and thousands of artists who look like they pulled some paints out of their ass and made a masterpiece due to some scary organizational magic. (Those damn agents. Tell them to go back home.)
But it’s important to remember that you will get down on yourself and that isn’t bad. It’s still a form of improvement. Sometimes, you won’t realise your growth until you take a good look later and take a good amount of time to appreciate yourself and appreciate your hard work. Everyone is different and everyone has something new to show to the world. So never think you’re not good enough for whatever reason. A friend might go viral overnight, art on the internet might intimidate you, hands are fucking terrible to draw, your art might get like -102343 notes and someone might even tell you to give up (what a shitty person, though. Please tell them they’re shitty if they do say that to you) but remember that all of us had to go through difficulties to get to where we are. You might think its cheesy and not true and that people are just ‘talented and nothing else’ but in reality, its those who don’t give up and find new and improved ways to teach themselves, others, and the world about the thing they are passionate about who discover their true shounen good ending with the sexy tsundere wife.
I hope I helped in some way! If you need any specific tutorials, though, I’d be glad to put something like that up to the best of my ability! I’m no expert by any means so you might want to turn to others for certain things !!! But go forth, fellow rebels. Let us change the existing structure of the current human society.
